Electric motors for window coverings have a warranty of three to five years depending on the manufacture. Honestly though, electric motors ususally last for ten years or more. A customer talked to me the other day about an electric motorized window treatment we had installed for him aboout three years ago. He informed me that it had quit working. What he didn’t know was everytime the electricity goes off or there is a power surge in his home the motor has to be reprogrammed. It is an easy task if the directions are followed and takes just a couple of minuts.
