Bay Window Treatments

valanceover blindsBay windows can really stump us as to what to do with them. This is an example of a simple, functional, and good looking bay treatment. Two layers make up this window treatment,  wood blinds and a tailored valance. The secret to this good look is a perfect fit. Wood blinds must be measured and ordered to fit perfectly and the valance is of course a custom designed and fabricated valance.

What types of window treatments do you put in a business that don’t look fussy or feminine?

There are many types of window treatments that lend them selves well to a business atmosphere. Classic roman shades, blinds, shutters, natural shades all look wonderful in a business setting. Draperies and valances can give a smart business look too but  it take a professional to accomplish it. As well as the valance and drapery design, color, fabric, pattern, scale, and the overall  finished look must be considered. A professional window treatment designer will provide that expertise .

Arched Top Windows

What in the world do you put on an arched window?

There are many window treatments for  arched windows today.  Which look or treatment is best depends on your needs, budget, and the look you desire.

Some of the options available are wood blinds, shutters, cellular, sheer shadings, metal blinds and starburst sheers. All of these treatments for an arch would of course be custom made to fit the particular arch in need of covering.  Not all arched window treatments are functional, some look great but are stationary.  The price varies greatly depending on the size of the arch and the type of treatment selected.

Some of the treatments may be motorized.
