Cheap window coverings ususally aren’t lined with the exception of sheers. Sheers are just that, sheer, a fabric to allow light into the room through the fabric.

Lining a window covering is a standard in the custom world of window fashions, it is a given. What does the lining add to the window covering? Lining adds body to the overall treatment. Lining protects the expensive face fabric from sun rot and fading, therefore extending the life of the treatment. Another function lining performs is it aids the overall window fashion in visual performance, in other words it hangs better and therefore looks better.  When you consider the low cost of  the lining itself it is well worth the money.

Comforters are the most popular type of bed covering today.  The variety of options for custom comforters is almost endless. Reversible comforters are a standard option as is contrast cording on the edges.  But did you know you can add beautiful trims of all sorts to your comforter? Other embellishments can also be added such as buttons, ribbons, and braiding.

Duvet covers are a quick inexpensive change to a bedroom. A duvet cover is like a big pillow case that goes over your comforter and has some type of closure on it, such as a zipper, velcro, or buttons and button holes. Duvet covers can be changed with the seasons to change the look of a bedroom. They can be reversible, washable, and easy to care for. Why not try a duvet cover for a switch?
